MAROTIRI SIDE SCHOOL.
NOT SANCTIONED,
At yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board, the Department replied to the proposal for the establishment of a side school at Marotiri, and pointing out the Act prescribed that a side school shall not be more than three miles distant Irom the main school. As the distance of the proposed school is miles Irom Moutoa, the Act could not be complied with.
