.V- MEETING. The weather conditions were unfavourable for the rirst day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s autumn meeting yesterday, and in consequence of the wet weather preceding on the opening day, the going was adversely affected. The attendance, although not very large during the earlier part of the day, increased considerably in the afternoon. The following are the results ;
