FROM FAMILY HOTEL

Some time mst u.ght the s..ae room of the Family Hotel ■ as broken into and several c-’ses of whisky stolen. the; was not discovered until ibis morning, but it is believed that it was committed prior to closing time last night.

This morning Mr McGill communicated to the police the fact that he had found 23 bottles of whisky in his garden, Union St., which is no doubt portion ot that stolen.

The police are investigating, and in this connection Detective Quirke is at present in Foxtou.
