A SAD SUICIDE.
Auckland, Feb. 28
A pathetic case of suicide occurred at Parnell to-day, when a sixteen-year-old lad named George Davies took prussic acid aud was found dead in the shop of his employer. Deceased left a letter to his mother saying that he was a rauk failure and was always doing things wrong. The letter concludes : “So goodbye aud as I said before don’t fret I am better where I am.”
Deceased was looked upon as a very promising boy.
