CROQUET.
Great interest is being taken by the lady members ot the Bowling Club in the croquet competitions on the local green. Several games have been played in both divisions and a number of the players are becoming quite experts. Opinion is divided upon many points in the game and these should be definitely settled and umpires appointed. A meeting ot ladies should be convened to decide these and other matters of interest to croquet players, and matches arranged with other clubs.
