Four outbreaks of tire were discovered within a tew minutes of each other at half-past to o’clock last night, being in every instance at the rear of large business places in the centre of the town, with the chance of a huge conflagration, as all were close to very inflammable matter.
A filth outbreak in stables behind the largest hotel, was detected at 4 a.in. to-day. There are many indications ol deliberate intention. All the outbreaks were quelled ucljre they had time to spread.
