CASE IN BRITISH NAVAL HOSPITAL. London, November 2. The Local Government Board announces that a seaman admitted to the Shotley Naval Hospital, Suffolk, ou October 10th, developed symptoms of pneumonia, and that when his sputum was examined plague bacilli was found. The source of in lection has not been ascertained. There has been no other case.

The recovery of the patient is doubtful. He stated that he cut his finger while skiuuing a rabbit, which may possibly have beeu iulected.
