CATHOLIC SOCIAL.
The last of the series of socials under the auspices ot St. Mary’s Church was held 111 St. Mary’s Hall ou Thursday evening last, and despite the fact that the weather was bad there was a large attendance. The music was supplied by Mr P C. Berthold, assisted by Coulan’s baud aud Messrs Golder and Berthold. Extras were played by Miss Bowe, Mrs Easton and Master Herb. Perreau, a young pianist who played clearly aud in good lime. The duties of M’s.C. were carried out by Messrs S. Dndson aud Perreau. During the evening songs were contributed by Messrs Golder aud B. Hooker. As usual the ladies of the parish provided a lirst-raie supper, aud the floor was iu first-class order.
The management desire to thank all those who iu any way have assisted to make the seiies of socials so successful, especially the ladies of the parish who kindly provided ihe suppers.
