TENNIS CLUB

A meeting of the committee of the local tenuis club was held last night. Present; Messrs Fraser (chairman), Jackson, Phillips, Wilson and Stevens. The resignation of Mr Stevens as secretary, was received with regiet and a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded him for his services to the club. Mr Stevens, who is leaving Foxton, suitably replied. Mr Gabites was unanimously elected secretary and treasurer. It was decided to paint the pavilion and asphalt the floor ot same.
