MUNICIPAL BALL.
That the Municipal Ball, to be held on Friday. 20th inst., is going to be a great success goes without seyiug. The programme of music submitted by Hanley’s Baud is a very line one, and specially selected for the occasion. There is every prospect of the floor, which is specially laid for dancing, being in first-class order, so the dances should go with a swing rarely experienced in F'oxtou. The commodious stage is to be laid out with chairs and tables for those who prefer a game of cards to that of dancing. The dress circle, for which tickets can be procured, will be a fine vantage place from which to view the dancers. The supper room, which will be used lor the first time, will be in charge of Mr M. K. Perreau, who is sparing no eliort to make the catering a big success, and tne tables will be fully supplied from the commencement of supper to hour of closing.
