The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company advertise particulars of their Himatangi spring Fair to be held on Monday, October 23rd at 12 noon. The lots to be offered include several lines of sheep and cattle on account of Barber's Himatangi Estate. For full particulars see advertisement. Foxton residents will be pleased to hear that the well-known Palmerston firm of auctioneers, Messrs Mounsey and Co., have decided to open a branch ol their business in Foxton and have made arrangements with Mr xNye to sell at his coal and wood yards once a month. The first sale will take place on Monday, the 23rd October, and the firm will be pleased to receive entries of any description, when we feel sure that their utmost will be done to satisfy anyone doing business with them. Mr Mounsey is well-known to Foxton residents and will conduct the selling for the firm. If you want the best meat at lowest possible prices, tell Cook and Co. to call.
