The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Palmerston North report:—At Himataugi on Monday we had a good entry of sheep and cattle and effected a good clearance at late rates. We quote : Sheep.—Kwes and lambs 13s rd, fat ewes 15s 6d to 17s id, hoggets ns 3d. Cattle. —Weauer heiters 343 6d, yearling heifers £2 3s to £2 7s, mixed yearlings £2 14s, yearling steers £2 14s 9d to £2 17s, empty 2year heilers £2 18s, heifers in milk £3 ns, heifers in call £3 5s to £+ ss, springing heifers £4 15s to £7 ss, store cows £2 is to £3 3s, forward cows ,£3 ns to light fat cows £5 14 s to £6 ss, three year steers 10s, fat bullocks £■<) 15s.
