CRIBBAGE TOURNAMENT.

The return cribbage tournament between teams from the Shannon Druids Dodge and the Railway Employees was played in Mr Perteau’s rooms on Tuesday evening, The visitors, numbering seventeen, arrived shortly after eight o’clock, and played with three Foxtou men in order to make up ten tables. The tournament was a very interesting one and resulted in a tie, each side winning 35 games. The visitors were entertained at supper by the home team, after which songs were contributed by Messrs Wells, Robinson and Batchelor.
