ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Wellington, July 17. The inquest on George Hepple, drowned on Coronation Day in the harbour, and whose body was found on Saturday, was concluded this morning. A verdict of accidental drowing was returned. Wanganui, July 17. A man named Alexander Fargie died at the hospital this morning, the result of injuries sustained at Eastown railway workshops on Saturday. Fargie was caught in the belting and his chest severely crushed against the wheel, his lung punctured and his heart injured. Deceased leaves a wife and seven children.
