ECHO OF A TRAGEDY.

Masterton, July 17. The girl Beryl Gardener, who was the victim of a tragedy in Masterton some time ago, died last night. She suffered paralysis as the result of injuries received on the occasion referred to, and succumbed in spite of every effort chat could be made to save her life. It will be remembered that Mrs Gardener, in a fit of dimentia, attacked her two children, a boy and a girl, and after inflicting serious injuries on them, committed suicide by drowning herself.
