ACCIDENT TO SIR GEORGE REID.

London, July 16. Sir George Reid was motoring at Broadstairs when the car was struck broadside by another car and forced against the tram standard. Sir George Reid’s arm was broken in two places and he was severely shaken. His son was badly shaken and his daughter seriously injured. Sir George and his son proceeded to their hotel and the daughter was taken to the hospital. All are progressing favourably. The impact was so violent that the standard was cracked and the car smashed to pieces.
