SATURDAY’S RESULTS. Seniors. Devin-W 6 v. Shannon 3. Hui Mai 14 v. Tainui 8. Juniors. Koputaroa 16 v. Hui Mai 3. Weraroa won by default from Foxton, DEVIN v. SHANNON. This match was played at Devin on Saturday in the presence of a moderate attendance. The game was one of the most disappointing senior exhibitions of football yet witnessed this season. In the first spell play was of an even nature, both sides occasionally making some fine dashes. In a good run Nepia Winiata scored a fine try. The shot at goal failed. The second spell was less interesting, but Devin succeeded in adding another 3 points, a try scored by f Heta. When the whistle sounded the scores stood: Devin 6 —Shannon o. Mr T. Parata controlled the game.

HUI MAI v. TAINUI. This match was a fast and interesting one, played at Manakan in the presence of a lair attendance. The game from start to finish was interesting, some fine passing rushes by both teams being witnessed. After a strenuous game /Hui Mai succeeded in defeating their opponents by 14 points to 8. Mr Burge refereed. WBRAROA v. FOXTON. This match was to be played at Weraroa, but Foxton failed to put in an appearance and the home team won by default. KOPUTAROA v. HUI MAI. A good deal of interest was centred in this match, which was played at Koputaroa. The game was stubbornly fought out and ended in favour of Koputaroa by 16 points to 3. During the game two members of the Koputaroa team and one of the Hui Mai team were ordered off the field. The Hui Mai player, Diamond, was ordered off for striking an opponent, while Pou and Paora were similarly dealt with for other breaches. Mr J. Smith had charge of the whistle. The following team will represent the Foxton seniors against Shannon on the local racecourse on Saturday next, commencing at 2.45 p.m.— Hennessy G, Dunn Shamrock Fume Rore B. Cook W.
