George Lucid has been scntcnc ed at Old Bailey to seven.years’ for bigaj jiy. Two thousand, seven hundred letters were found iu his lodging, showibf; that ho Ead been corresponding with a2 women simultaneously. Ho obtained i 11500 from one woman.
Judge Rentoul said ho hoped the suffragettes would change the law and make ■the offence of bigamy one for floating.
