• ■ - TO THE SOUTH POLK. London, June iS. Dr Mawsou is going to Paris to discuss with the Prince of Monaco as to the best deep-sea dredging gear. The Prince has already arranged tor one of the scientific staff of the expedition to undergo training in the oceanographical laboratory at Monaco. Dr Mawsou states that the Aurora will be dry-docked. She is a roomy ship, a little smaller than the Terra Nova. CAPTAIN RETURN. Christiania, June 18. Christoffersen, a Norwegian resident of Buenos Ayres, is defraying the cost of provisioning and outfitting the Pram until Captain Amundsen’s return to New Zealand and San Francisco.
