ISITT v. STEWART.
A SETTLEMENT. Christchurch, June 18. A settlement has been arrived at in the libel action L. M. Isitt v. J. M. Stewart. The member of the Association who gave Rev. Isitt’s name for insertion in the trade list arranged with Rev. Isitt to pay him and both his and defendant’s costs, in consideration of plaintiff abandoning any verdict which he might obtain against Stewart, also refraining from taking any proceedings against the said member.
