HIMITANGI COLLIDES WITH HINEMOA.

The Marine Department received advice from Captain Bollons, of the Hinemoa, yesterday, that the Himitangi ran into the Hiuemoa’s stern alongside the Lyttelton wharf at noon yesterday. Some damage was caused to the stern of the Hinemoa above the water line, Temporary repairs are being carried out at Lyttelton, and permanent repairs will be effected when the Hinemoa returns to Wellington in about four weeks’ time.
