ROMAN CATHOLICS AND THE CORONATION.

A circular letter to the Roma Catholic clergy has been issued by his Grace Archbishop Redwood bearing on the Coronation celebrations in this provincial district. His Grace asks all Roman Catholics to heartily join in the celebrations by taking part in the public festivities and religious services. It is also becoming, he says, that uniformity should prevail ui ihv celebrations throughout the diocese of the ecclesiastical province. Every priest in each diocese is requested to celebrate a Votive Mass on Coronation Day, and it is also suggested that for at least half an hour the Church bells in each locality be rung in token of joy and thanksgiviug.
