Christchurch, June 1. The Hon. D. Buddo has supplied for publication the following summary of the total population returns tor the Dominion as shown by the recent census :
Total 1,007,811 888,578 119.234 Including Stewart Island, Chatham Islands and Main Trunk trains, the net increase is 1 19.233- (The summaries are exclusive of the Maoris, Cook and Niue Islands.)
