LIGHT-WEIGHT BREAD.

At the Magistrate’s Court today two bakers were fined £lO each for selling light-weight bread. In one case the Magistrate made an order for the publication in the local papers of the defendants’ names, occupation, and place of business, and the conviction and penalty imposed, as provided by section 19 of the Sales of Food and Drugs Act.
