POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.

KINGS BIRTHDAY. Saturday, June 3rd (King’s Birthday), is to be observed as a Post and Telegraph holiday, and the following hours will be observed by the local office : —Nine to 10 a.m., for receipt and despatch of telegrams, and also for delivery of letters over the counter ; 7 to 8 p.tn., for receipt and despatch of telegrams only. Mails usually closing at 8.30 a.m. will be closed at 8 p.m. on Friday. Those mails which are despatched by the 2.30 p.m. coach will close at 10 a.m. The letter carriers will not make their usual delivery. The telephone exchange will observe a close holiday. A delivery of letters will be made over the counter on Friday night between 7 and 8 o’clock. A. D. Clemett, Postmaster.
