MANAWATU NO-LICENSE COUNCIL.
The annual meeting of the Mauawatu No-License Council was held at Rongotea yesterday afternoon. Representatives were present from the various centres in the electorate. Mr J. Sanson (President) occupied the chair. After routine business had been discussed, the election of officers for the coming term resulted as follows: —President, Mr J. Sanson, re-elected unanimously ; VicePresident Mr H. Rockel, (reelected); treasurer, Mr Glover ; secretary, Mr Rockel ; assistant secretary, Mr Fowles. Messrs Rockel and Horn blow were elected delegates to the Dominion Conference with Mr F'owles as substitute. Other matters of minor importance were discussed and the meeting terminated.
