MASONIC.
The installation ceremony and investiture of officers of the local Masonic Lodge took place on Tuesday night. The installing officer was R. Wor. Bro. J. A. Moucrieff, Pro. G. M., assisted by Wor. Bro. J. A. Nash, P.G.D.C., and other visiting officers. The following officers were invested: —W.M., Bro. A. W. Bradley; I. Wor. Bro. M. Perreau ; S.W., Bro. J. Senior ; J. W., Bro. W. E. Bullard ; treasurer, Bro. M. Walker; chaplain, Wor. Bro. W. S. Stewart; D.C., Wor. Bro. E. Healey ; S.D., Bro. J. Ross, J.D., Bro. A. J. Gibbs ; S.S., Bro. E. Ball ; J.S., Bro. Sexton ; 1.G., Bro. H. J. Berry; tyler, Bro. J. Shuker. After the ceremony a social was held in the Hall, at which the brethren and their lady friends attended in good force, aud spent a most enjoyable time. Wor. Bro. Nash and Bro, Kellow officiated as M’s.C. in a very capable manner. The music was supplied by Mr F. C. Berthold, and the catering by Wor. Bro. Perreau, Vocal items were contributed at intervals, and much appreciated.
