POVKRTV BAY MKKTING

The Poverty Bay Turf Club's meeting was brought to a conclusion on Friday. The weather was dull, but notwithstanding this there was a large attendance, and some interesting racing was witnessed by those present. The sum of ,£8456 was put through the machine, as against ,£5528 on the corresponding day of last year, making a total for the meeting of £15.574. as against ,£11,328 for the same meeting last year. Following are the results ;
