Auckland, Sept. 16, The return from the Waihi mine for the past month was better than might have been expected, in face of the notification that, owing to lower grade ore, the future returns were expected to be about ,£68,000. As a matter of fact, the return for the past month was ,£70,162, the result of the treatment of 35,617 tons of ore. The total won from the mine to date is ,£8,815,477, the dividends declared amounting to £3,962,322.
