MORAN ACQUITTED. San Francisco, May 12. The magistrate dismissed the charge of manslaughter against Owen Moran in connection with the death of the boxer Tommy M’Carthy, which occurred when the pair were boxing for the featherweight championship. [The fight took place on 29th April, M’Carthy was knocked out in the sixteenth round. He hit the floor with much violence, his skull being fractured.)
