Ottawa, May 12. Mr McHugh, secretary of the Alberta Grain Exchange, reports that one-half of the winter wheat in the southern part of the province has been destroyed as the result of extremely dry weather. London, May 12. The official estimate of the Argentine maize harvest is 4,450,000 tons. It is stated that the grain is superior to that of 1909.
