ALLEGED CATTLE STEALING.
The Oroua Bridge cattle case, in which D. B. V. Pearce is charged by W. Passey, a neighbour, with stealing two bullocks, was continued at the Palmerston North Police Court yesterday, before Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M. After a considerable amount of evidence had been taken, accused was committed for trial, bail being allowed, accused iu £IOO and two sureties of £SO each.
