ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
Grkymouth, Jan. 5. Mr RichaH Clough, an old settler, and clerk of course to the Greymouth Jockey and Trotting Clubs for years, was found dead iu bed yesterday. Auckland, January 5. David Marshall, 47 years of age, having a wife and six children, dropped dead from heart disease at Devon port yesterday. He arrived from Ireland three months ago. Christchurch, January 5.* Mr Guy Ronaldson, aged about 21, employed as clerk in the Public Trust Office, died suddenly at New Brighton early this mornng. Deceased, who occupied a cottage with two friends, was taken very ill just before 1.30 a.m., his companions being awakened by his groans. They sent at once for a doctor, but before he was in attendance the young man had succumbed. Deceased was a son of Mr S. Ronaldson, inspector of the Public Trust Office, who is at present in Auckland. He was only transferred to the Christchurch office two months ago from Wellington, where his home is situated.
