THE WORK OF THE SESSION.
Christchurch, January 2. Sir Joseph Ward, interviewed on his way south yesterday, reviewed the work of the session, which, he said, for the first working session after the general election, easily constitutes a record for New Zealand. Referring to universal training, he stated that regulations necessary to give effect to the establishment of the system must be put in hand without delay, and a committee would be appointed after the holidays to visit both Islands to select sites lor permanent training camps.
