HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
OPENS TO-MORROW.
The second annual show, under the auspices of the local Horticultural Society, will be held in the Public Hall to-morrow and Thursday. The proceedings will be formally opened by Mr E. Newman, M.P., at 2 p.m. This year’s exhibition promises to be a great improvement on the inaugural show. Every class will be properly systematised by the class stewards thus preventing confusion and economising time and space. All entries close with the Secretary at 9 o’clock to-night and exhibits must be in the hall not later than 10 a.m. on the first daj' of the show. Exhibitors will kindly note that each exhibit mnst be accompanied by an envelope inside of which will be the exhibitor’s name and written on the outside of the envelope the number of the class in which the exhibit will be shown. This method will great!}' facilitate the work of judging. All further information in respect to the show may be obtained from Mr J.' T. Levett, secretary, who will be in attendance at the hall lor the purpose of receiving entries up till 9 o’clock to-night.
