The above match was played on the local courts on Saturday afternoon. last, in gloriously fine weather. The visitors, on arrival, were hospitably entertained at atternoou tea, atter which play commenced, resulting in a win for the Horowhenua Club by nine to five games—49B and 446 points respectively. Though defeated, Foxton has every reason to be well satisfied with the result, in consideration of the strength of the Levin Club, they having proved themselves superior to Palmerston.
