THE FOXTON BAR.

HARBOUR MASTER’S REPORT.

The following is the Harbour Master’s report on the local bar for the present month The depth of water on the Manawatu bar has been ten feet at high water spring tides and seven feet six inches at high water neap tides. Since my last report the south head has cut away considerably, causing the bar to work to the southward. The river continues to carry good water with the exception of the crossing at Robinson’s.”
