SCHOOL CONCERT.

TO-NIGHT AND TO MORROW NIGHT.

It should not be necessary for us to remind the public of the local school concert which takes place in the Public Hall to-night and tomorrow night. At the final rehearsal the little ones acquitted themselves admirably in their several parts. The teaching staff, assisted by Miss Jackson, have spared no pains in coaching the scholars, over 200 of whom will take part. The younger scholars will provide the first part of the programme and the older ones the second half. The bill-of-fare is extremely varied and includes drills, action and character songs, choruses, skits, recitations, etc. The stage has been arranged to provide for the effective grouping of the children and there will not be any waits between the items. We are asked to state that those possessing 2s tickets may obtain entrance to the hall at the side door.

It is anticipated that there will be a record attendance.
