LAND BALLOT.
Auckland, Oct. 31
Thirty sections which were undisposed of at the previous ballot in connection with the Korokonui and Rangitoto settlements were finally balloted for on Saturday, keen interest being manifested. The only form of favour which found tenure was occupation with right of purchase, not a single section being taken up on the leasehold.
