The High Commissioner cabled to us at noon yesterday as follows: Hemp market quiet but steady ; N.Z. good fair on spot, per ton, £27 10s; N.Z. fair grade on spot per ton, £26 10s; fair current Manila on spot per ton, ; January-March shipments, N.Z. good fair per ton, £27 ; N.Z. fair grade per ton, £26 ; fair current Manila per ton £25 10s ; Manila output 33,000 bales.
