In the sculling match for ,£IOO between F. S. Hagney, and Ben Thoroughgood, Hagney won easily by seven lengths in ißmtn, nsec.
[Ben Thoroughgood is an excharapiou of Australia. F. S. Hagney is well known in Australia as a racing cyclist. After Dick Arnst’s success on the water Hagney decided to try his hand at the game and in this, his first match has put up a first rate performance. He recently acted as pacemaker to champion Harry Pearce for his match against Geo. Day.J
