DEBATERS’ CLUB. The'annual general meeting of the Debaters’ Cricket Club was held in Messrs Fowler and Gordon’s office last night. Mr F. Woods occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The Secretary presented the annual report and balance-sheet, which showed a credit balance. It was decided that, as the old Moutoa Club had disbanded, to combine with them, and change the name of the Club to the United. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—■ Patron, John Stevens, Esq.; President, Mr O. H. Stiles ; ; VicePresidents.* Messrs R. Moore, T. Rimmer, Dr Adams, F. S. Easton, F. Gardner, F. Had field ; Captain, Mr W. Gordon ; Vice-captain, Mr W. Bowe; secretary and treasurer Mr A. McCall; Committee.* Messrs W. Gordon, W. Bowe, A. McCall, N. Spelmsn, and F. Woods; Selection Committee.’: Messrs Bowe, Gordon and Woods ; Delegates to the Association: Messrs W. Gordon, Spelman and McCall. The subscription fee was fixed at ss.

The members of the old Moutoa Club present stated that it had been decided to hand over all their cricketery material to the Uniteds. After passing accounts for payment the meeting terminated.
