Melbourne, Sept. 19. The late Sir Thomas Bent was given a State funeral at Brighton Cemetery to-day. An imposingcortege included representatives of Federal Governments. London, Sept. 17. The newspapers published anecdotal articles in regard to Sir Thomas Bent, and comment on his interesting personality:
