Rowland, the New Zealander, won the three miles handicap walk at. Glasgow in 21 minutes 39 1-5 seconds, a Scottish record. At the same meeting R. E. Walker, the South African, ran 120 yards in ix 3-58605, and 150 yards in 14 4-55605, both records.
