HEMP MARKET,
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: —The hemp market is quiet but steady, New Zealand good fair grade on spot, quoted at £23 5s per ton ; New Zealand fair grade on spot, ; fair current Manila on spot, £22 10s ; June-August shipments, New Zealand good fair grade, £23 per ton ; New Zealand fair grade, £2l 15s ; fair current Manila, £22 per ton ; Manila output 28,000 bales.
