FALL OF AN AIRSHIP.
St. Petersburg, June 19. A fatal ballooning accident has occurred in St. Petersburg. When at a height of nearly a mile, the envelope of the military balloon Vannovsky ripped, owing to the accidental pulling of an emergency valve. The balloon fell with frightful velocity. Of the four occupants of the car, M. Politzan, Court Chamberlain, was killed and his wife was fatally injured. The Vannovsky in a former accident caused the death of four officials.
