DRUNKEN CONSTABLE ORDERED OFF DUTY.
Wellington, June 6
A police constable named Mills, caused some diversion in Mannersstreet last night, owing to being in a state of drunkenness while on duty in uniform. Mills was ordered off duty by Inspector Ellison. The matter will be inquired into by the police authorities.
