THE GIESEN BANKRUPTCY.

The adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of W. B. Giesen, a settler, of Feilding, was held yeeterday before the Official Assignee (Mr A, Simpson), when the following motion was carried unanimously:—“That the Official Assignee assign the bankrupt estate to Mr George Lambert, of Wellington, and Mr Oliver Edward Austin, of Foxton, as trustees for the benefit of the creditors: and that the trustees hand back to the bankrupt the interest in the Aorangi property, known as the homestead property, at Feilding, and that immediate steps be taken to obtain an order annulling the bankruptcy. The assets from the Official Assignee to be taken in full settlement, of all creditors’ claims against W. B. Giesen,”
