DIVERTING THE COAL TRADE.

The local Harbour Board and Chamber of Commerce took the matter up, and communicated with the Railway Department on the subject, but so far, have not received any reply to enquiries. The Secretary of the Harbour Board has, however, obtained information from a reliable source to the effect that the Railway Department will continue to receive its coal through the local port.
