EX-PRESIDENT CASTRO.
Caracas, April n. A strong Castro movement is in progress in the Orinoco district, Venezuela. It is stated that ExPresident Castro promised his adherents one-half his fortune In case of a successful revolution. He has freighted four steamers at Antwerp to land arms and ammunition at a point where their arrival will be secretly awaited. Fort dr France, April 12. Ex-President Castro pretended to be ill when he was ordered aboard a French ship at Fort de France, but he was not allowed to delay, and proceeds to Teneriffe. On leaving, he refused to dress, and the authorities placed him on a stretcher, and carried him aboard the steamer, clothed only in his underwear, and complaining of an intolerable pain in the abdomen and kidneys.
